100 Best Communities for Young People logoThe Day of Play is a celebration of Chandler being named one of the Top 100 Communities for Young People by the America’s Promise Alliance for the third time.  America’s Promise is a national organization founded by former General Colin Powell, which encourages communities to deliver Five Promises, considered to be essential to young people.  All Day of Play activities fall under the Five Promises; A Healthy Start, Effective Education, Opportunities, Safe Places and Caring Adults.

Please join us later in the day for the 2008 Fall Rhythm Fest presented by SRP in Tumbleweed park from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
