Chandler Regional Hospital offers Free Flu Shots

I received an email this a.m. letting me know that the City of Chandler and Chandler Regional Hospital are providing flu shots for people 18 and over.

If you’ve ever had a flu shot before, you know that this is not one of those things you typically enjoy. Sure, it may be on your list of things to do, but really – if you didn’t “have to”, would you really?

This year, Chandler Regional, is opting for a drive-thru shot clinic.  If I understand it correctly, you drive up to the area, do some paperwork, put your arm out the car window, get poked (sorry if that bothers you) and drive away.

So – if you’re interested and it’s on your list of things to do – drive on over to the hospital (located at the corner of Frye Rd & Dobson Rd) this Saturday (10/25) from 7:30am to 10:30am.  You’ll want to go over to the east side of the hospital – near the southeastern corner of Frye and Pennington.

Shots are free, but you do have to be over 18 years old.  Residency in Chandler is not required, either.

I also found a small blurb in the Chandler Republic this morning with all this same information written by Marjon Rostami.
